Use instructions video and images currently on the website, as well as on the IFU included in product packaging.
- Download the sidekick App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
- Once downloaded, follow the prompts onscreen to create a profile. Ensure you verify your email address.
- Check your Spam folder for the email verification
- In the app, go to ‘Devices’ on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen.
- Click on the ‘+’ on the top right corner.
- Use the power button on your reader to turn it on.
- Once your reader appears on screen, click ‘Pair’.
- Your reader is now connected and will update automatically.
We recommend only using fresh whole blood on your sidekick tests as this is what we have used in our testing and Validation.
Our app is essential to ensure you are getting the maximum use out of your sidekick. On the app you can upload and store the results of each test. You can also add notes to each of these results. All reader updates are also done through the app and will automatically start once the reader is powered on and paired to the app.
